MENUS for Nov 23 – Dec 4

Media Release:

Open Classroom Charter School is participating in the Seamless Summer Option for these unusual circumstances.

Meals will be provided to all enrolled children and their siblings without charge.  Participation will be restricted for safety of students and capacity limitations; OC students and non-OC enrolled siblings are eligible for these free meals.  A family member must come to pick up the food for children.  If you are getting multiple meals please bring a bag or cooler to put them in!

Meals are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination during the meal service. Meals will be provided through the end of school year 2020-2021 or until available funds run out.  We do expect to be in place for the school year.

Breakfast and Lunch for the entire week will be available as grab and go meals at the OC Kitchen Loading Dock between 11am and 1pm, on scheduled school days.  The loading dock is below the west entrance to the OC building. You only need to come once a week for all the meals!

A mask is required for any person coming to pick up food.

Please order any meals before coming! Email us at andrea.winbauer@slcschools.org. Tell us how many children will be needing meals for the week, and what day you will come to get them.  If you have questions or need accommodations please contact us, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Planned menus are below, however we cannot guarantee availability, items may change.  We are unable to make meals based on food preferences at this time, but most components are separate and removable.

Please wash the fruits and vegetables you receive!  To prevent spoilage they may have not been washed before packing up the lunches.  Also, many entree items may need to be reheated before eating.
